Sunday Clothes received a starred review from ALA’s Booklist. Jabez: A Novel (“Each page is finely crafted… Highly recommended.” –Lynn Waalkes, CBA Marketplace, October 2001) appeared on the CBA Marketplace Best-Seller list for clothbound fiction in March 2002 (#9) and April 2002 (#3), and has been translated into Dutch, German, and Afrikaans, in addition to the release of a separate edition in the United Kingdom by Hodder and Stoughton. Feedback “This is the second editing job Tom has done for us. He is professional, on time, and his work is top level. He edited content the first time around and improved the books several hundred percent. This copy edit maintained vernacular where indicated and made the sentences flow. We will definitely contact him again on our next project.” Don Lewis "It is clear from the execution of your manuscript that a lot of time, research, and thought went into this. The chapters flow well, you’ve summarized the book’s purpose and direction in a concise manner in the introduction, and overall the book’s argument is focused and well-organized. The shorter chapters and subheads break up the information into manageable pieces—ideal for reading groups. "I especially liked your use of analogies and parables to move your point forward. Many of these approach the concept of shame from a psychological perspective rather than a theological one, which only serves to broaden the readership—after all, who can’t identify with shame? Another selling point is your tone. You’ve managed to sound professional and clear-headed, while dropping pop culture references that ground the information in modernity. Reassuring throughout, Shame is an assigned reading contender for a broader readership than strictly academic-minded Christians, though Christians as a group will undoubtedly be the target audience." Robert Chuck, Self-Published: Mill City Press. “Tom is a professional … He was able to encourage and comfort me when I became overly anxious at the beginning of the project. His calm nature is very refreshing and reassuring. He was able to help me bring my vision to fruition by listening, asking the right questions, and lending his insight and expertise. I was concerned about using a man, as my project is about women, and Thom was able to help me tell the story from a woman’s perspective. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help telling a story and/or bringing it to life. He went over and beyond what I expected or could have ever imagined.” - Dawn Nicole Martin "Tom is simply one of the finest men I've ever known and one of the best writers I've ever encountered. His combination of creativity, craftsmanship, integrity, and intelligence puts him at a level I've rarely seen." ––Gary Terashita, Executive Editor, B&H Publishing Group "Tom is an editor's dream. He not only writes and edits creatively and accurately, he does all this on deadline. Amazing! Oh, and he is very kind and friendly to boot. Highly recommended." ––Jeff Dunn, literary agent, Winters and King Inc. "I'd like to thank you again for having been so supportive throughout the last several months. You're a great editor and a stand-up guy." --Jose A. Ramirez, instructor, Laredo Community College "Tom is an exceptional editor. An author himself, Tom is meticulous and creative in his work as he expertly brings a writer's best ideas forward. Not only are his editorial abilities outstanding, he is also warm, patient, caring, and thus a joy to work alongside. I recommend him wholeheartedly!" ––Edwina Barvosa, Associate Professor, University of California at Santa Barbara "Tom has been an incredible asset to our company. His ability to work
directly with authors in a professional, no-ego way that also reflects
each author's needs and personality is amazing. He requires little
hands-on management and he makes his deadlines! His writing and
