Feedback
"I had the pleasure of working with Tina Hardy in her role as copyeditor for my recent book, The Practice of Authentic PLCs: A Guide to Effective Teacher Teams (Corwin, 2011). Tina's attention to detail, her boundless knowledge of proper form, format, usage and grammar, combined with her willingness to work with me in preserving the heart of every misstated sentence made it a painless and constructive experience to work together. If I have any say at all, Tina Hardy will be my copyeditor on my next title."- Daniel Venables, Executive Director, Center for Authentic PLCs, Author of The Practice of Authentic PLCs: A Guide to Effective Teacher Teams
"Tina Hardy is a quality professional copy editor with an enormous understanding of the concepts and extraordinary attention to even the smallest details. I would confidently recommend her services to those who want their projects manicured properly. She's on my extremely short list of trusted editors for anything I'm involved with." - Stephen Thomas, The Pioneer News
"Tina Hardy was always prompt and thorough in her copy editing work for The Murfreesboro Pulse. She has a friendly personality and is easy to communicate with. Although many of the Pulse’s contributors are not professional journalists (some were having their first piece of writing published; others were not exactly good with their use of written language), she took their work and polished it to professional standards and helped maintain a high-quality local arts and entertainment publication." - Bracken Mayo, Owner/Publisher/Editor in Chief of The Murfreesboro Pulse

“Tina, I have worked with many editors. I have written 20 books. This is the best job I've seen to date. You have made what we said clearer with every edit and NEVER compromised the message we want to send. We accept everything you have done gleefully with no changes. Thanks so much. This has been a total pleasure for both of us.” - Peter Desberg,
Coauthor (with Jeffrey Miller) of Understanding and Engaging Adolescents
"I am the author of the book, Eight Steps to Classroom Management Success, published by Corwin Press in 2009. Tina Hardy was the copy editor that worked with me on this project. I enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her to any author working on a project that requires APA style." - George M. Kapalka, Department of Psychological Counseling, Monmouth University, Author of Eight Steps to Classroom Management Success: A Guide for Teachers of Challenging Students
“Tina, congratulations and thanks a million for your skill, thoroughness, and tact in working on this complicated project. You did an incredible job of wrapping your mind around all of its components, and have made a real contribution to the overall product.” -
Catherine Miles Grant,
Author of Secondary Lenses on Learning
"I had the good fortune to link up with Tina Hardy at precisely the time when I was unable to see through my writing and identify those crucial moments when meaning was lost. These are those elusive ideas you understand well, yet they reveal themselves when the manuscript is done and resist your best efforts to bring clarity. Tina’s approach was timely, painstaking and very effective in helping me get close to a goal of effective writing I strive for, which is that clear writing reflects clear thinking. Tina helped me think." - Graeme Sullivan, Teachers College, Columbia University,
Author of Art Practice as Research: Inquiry in Visual Arts
“Tina Hardy is a writing editor, which means she understands the business from both sides of the page. Her professionalism is reflected in her attention to detail and her dependability. Tina’s positive attitude and her adjustment to change make her a pleasure to work with and a joy to recommend.” - Cindy Phiffer,
Writer/editor and former president of the Tennessee Writers Alliance
